Our History
At Tulah, we are inspired by the timeless beauty of Indian craftsmanship and the dedication of the local artisans in Bhuj, Gujarat. Our founder, Toral Bhandari, a passionate entrepreneur and former banker, began Tulah to create a bridge between these talented weavers and those who value authenticity, quality, and design. With a deep commitment to preserving traditional artistry, Tulah embraces the heritage of handloom products, ensuring that each piece reflects the beauty and skill of local craft.
Our name, Tulah, rooted in the Sanskrit word for cotton, embodies our dedication to bringing forth high-quality, uniquely designed handwoven products. In a marketplace filled with mass-produced items, we take pride in offering only hand-picked pieces, each telling its own story of cultural richness and individuality.
Our goal is simple yet profound: to make it easy for you to discover and enjoy exquisite, responsibly crafted handloom pieces that blend elegance with tradition. Through Tulah, we celebrate the artistry of Indian weavers and aim to bring their work to the global stage, sharing the beauty of their heritage with the world.
